Why do I have to merge my locations?

Classpass doesn't have the ability to integrate with multiple location IDs, so we work around this limitation by merging your Momence location IDs into one ID that ClassPass can handle.

The alternative to this approach would be to schedule all of your classes in Momence at one location. The workaround below allows you to continue scheduling Momence classes from multiple locations.

Will merging cause upcoming bookings to be lost?

Yes, but only for the Source Location(s), not the Target location. Source Locations get merged into a Target Location. The Target Location remains. The Source Location(s), and their bookings, are lost.

How do I merge two or more locations?

From Apps and Integrations > Third Party Integrations > click ClassPass. You'll find at the bottom of the page an 'Add' button to start this process.

Select which 'source locations' need to be merged into a single 'target' location -- the location that will remain visible to classpass.

Make sure to only select target locations that you have shared with ClassPass.

How do I change a classpass signup that was for the wrong class?

To move a student’s classpass sign-up from the wrong class to the correct one

Click Classes > Schedule and select the class where the student is currently booked > Find the student in the list > click the dropdown menu next to their name, and choose "Move customer to class." > Select the correct class to move them.

Can I restrict signups?

Unfortunately, this is not possible through the ClassPass integration. Classpass also limits our ability to cap signups.

Is there a workaround?

There's a workaround that allows you to effectively shut off all signups for a specific class when you see its close to capacity.

This workaround is not a limit you can set ahead of time on the class. Its more like a kill switch you can apply to specific class if you see signups are getting too high.

Important: This will cut off all signups to that class. Not just ClassPass signups.

In summary,

• We'll create a tag that no customer has.

• Then we'll edit that class and restrict booking to only customers with that tag.

• If no one has that tag applied, then no one else can book.

You can re-use this tag later on for the same purpose with other ClassPass classes that are getting full.

To get started click Customers > Tags > create that tag. Name it something obvious for its purpose and make sure its applicable to customers.

Then edit the class in question > scroll to 'restrict who is eligible to book and when' > select that tag.

Classpass is saying the host and location IDs are not available for integration. What do I do?

Try the following:

  1. Verify Integration Setup: In Momence, click Apps & Integration > Integration > ClassPass and turn on "Integration Enabled".

  2. Check ID Usage: Make sure you are using the correct Host ID and Location ID. In ClassPass terms, Org ID and Venue ID correspond to Momence's Host ID and Location ID, respectively.

  3. Location IDs: ClassPass cannot integrate with multiple location IDs from Momence. If your classes are scheduled at different locations, they need to be merged into a single location ID for ClassPass to display them correctly.

If a customer books a class using ClassPass and then cancels through Momence will the booking also be cancelled in ClassPass?

Yes, it will also show as canceled in ClassPass.
