Create Email Marketing Templates to save time

Create Marketing templates to re-use in Sequences and One-off Messages. To get started, click Marketing > Marketing Templates

SMS marketing templates

When creating new one-off messages, you may have noticed this 'Load from template' button. This allows you to load pre-written SMS or email templates, saving you time.

To create new SMS templates and have them ready to fire, click Marketing > Marketing Templates > SMS.

Click New Template

Name the message (for internal use) > describe it (also internal, optional) > add the message content and Save.

You'll now see this message available when clicking 'Add from template'.

How to add social media buttons to an email

You can add your social media buttons as images. When adding an image to the email's content, you can choose where customers land when they click the image.

Start by googling an image you'd like to use and download it. A png format works well. Save it to a place where you'll remember how to find it, like your desktop.

Then, in Momence, click Marketing > Marketing Templates > New Template (must be email) > Add content.

On the drag and drop email page, before you add the image, it may help to start by adding a divider (see top right of screenshot below) or another organizational format using blocks (far right in the grey column). This will allow you to pick exactly where you drag the logo to in the email's body.

After you're happy with the structure, drag the image icon to where the social media logo will live. Then click the icon to see your options to upload the logo.

Important: After adding the logo, make sure the logo is selected so you see this light blue outline pictured below. Then, off to the right, scroll (past the Image URL) to the 'Action' section to modify the Image Link's URL. Add your social media's link here.

Pro tip: Use the mobile and desktop icons in the bottom left to preview how this email will look in each format. When you're happy, click 'Use' (bottom right).

Test the link with 'Send test email to'. Choose an email to send it to, open it from the test account's email inbox and click the link to ensure it takes you where it should.

Then, back in Momence, click Save.

Convert Referrals to Members with the Referrals Sequence Template

Momence builds sequence templates so that you don't have to. The newest template leverages your dedicated customer's excitement by encouraging them with referral perks if they refer their friends.

The Convert Referrals to Members template then follows up with those new referrals to encourage them to book that first class, then checks in with them periodically until they buy a membership.

It even identifies your new dedicated customers. The template looks out for your long term growth goals by waiting until these new referrals have become regulars themselves. It then prompts those newly identified regulars with a reward to recruit their friends as referrals.

Pro tip: when building out a template, you can view the mapped logic of a sequence and its specific criteria for each decision point before enabling it. You can alter these specifics to fit your business before you allow it to get started.

Start leveraging this new template under Marketing > Sequences > Create > Folder from template > Convert Referrals to Members.

Drag and drop email templates in the Marketing Suite

To create professional looking emails to send to your customers, first make sure you have access to Campaigns by clicking Apps and Integrations > App store > toggling on Email & SMS Marketing Suite.

Drag and drop templates can be used with the following Marketing features: Sequences, One-off messages, and Marketing Templates.

If you know you'll be leveraging the same images and text in many different future messages to your customer base, you'll save the most time by creating your Marketing templates first, then loading these templates later on in Sequences and One-off messages. After loading the template, you can make changes to the text, images or format.

Once you've pulled up a drag and drop form, before adding any content you may want to consider using Blocks. These divide the email into sections that can help you achieve the desired outcome.

Once you're happy with the layout, use the Content tab to start dragging items in.

Use the Body tab to edit text styles / colors / weights as well as background color.

Note that you'll have the option auto-save your work using the checkbox at the bottom.

Remember to start creating in Marketing Templates for easy access later on, using the load from template option.
