Intro Offers

Intro offers with subscriptions

Intro Offers are a great opportunity to let your customers try out your services.

When creating a subscription, just below the Duration Settings section you'll find the Intro Offer toggle. If you opt to use this, the subscription cannot be an auto-renewing subscription.

Pro tip: when a customer's intro offer is expiring, invite them to purchase a subscription or pack that gives access to those same services. Search our help center for 'Sequences to target Intro Offer Customers.'

Create an intro offer for a limited # of classes

In the example below we’ll create a intro offer that:

  • is a running promo

  • lasts one week

  • can only be purchased once per customer

  • offers a limited # of classes

To begin, click Memberships > Subscriptions and Packs > Add new subscription > Give it a name > then, set a price (can be set to $0 if needed)

Then scroll to Duration Settings > choose Absolute Interval > put 7 days > toggle on 'Purchasable only once' > then toggle on 'this subscription is an intro offer'.

Under Usage limit settings, toggle on 'this subscription has a usage limit' > put the number of class credits you'd like customers to receive

Choose what the intro offer can be used on > then click 'Create'. Then click the back arrow up top to back out to the Subscription Index Page > Find your newly created promo in the subscription list > flip the toggle on to make it 'Featured at Checkout' for customers.

To see what customers see at checkout, click your logo in the top left > 'Your page'. The promo will now be listed under your Purchase Options.

Create an intro offer for un-limited classes

In the example below we’ll create a intro offer that:

  • is a running promo

  • lasts one week

  • can only be purchased once per customer

  • offers unlimited classes

To begin, click Memberships > Subscriptions and Packs > Add new subscription > Give it a name > then, set a price (can be set to $0 if needed).

Then scroll to Duration Settings > choose Absolute Interval > put 7 days > toggle on 'Purchasable only once' > Toggle on 'this subscription is an intro offer' > Choose what the intro offer can be used on > then click 'Create'.

Then click the back arrow up top to back out to the Subscription Index Page > Find your newly created promo in the subscription list > flip the toggle on to make it 'Featured at Checkout' for customers

To see what customers see at checkout, click your logo in the top left > 'Your page'. The promo will now be listed under your Purchase Options.

Trials

Free Trial Customizations for Subscriptions

You can allow customers to try out your subscriptions with a free or low priced trial of its benefits.

You'll have control over:

  • how long a subscription's free trial will last

  • plus the amount they pay (or don't pay) up front to try it

To do this, find an existing subscription: Click Memberships > Subscriptions and Packs > Select a subscription > click Edit Details

Scroll past halfway down to Auto-renewal Settings > toggle on Auto-renewal settings> click Include Free Trial > Choose the duration > choose the price, if any

Customers viewing the membership purchase page will now see messaging with the dollar figure you added.
