Reviews Plugin: show off your Momence reviews on your website

Reviews allow you to take a pulse from your customer base to see how they're receiving you and your instructors. High reviews can validate what you're doing and lower ones can shine a spotlight on areas to improve. You can receive ratings for both classes and appointments and customers are asked for reviews via the app, email and their desktop account.

You can even have customers redirected to your google reviews page after they finish rating you through Momence. Our system will automatically prompt customers to give you one-click reviews on Google, which will boost your SEO and ranking in search results. For this, you just need to provide us with your Google review link via the "Review settings" questions.

Update: Embed Momence Reviews to your site

You'll now see an embed button at the top right of your reviews page. This allows you to feature the feedback your customers have given right from your website, where it can pay for prospective customers to read them.

To set this up, from Marketing > Reviews > click Embed.

Set your filter / customization options. You can preview these changes below and to the right > Then copy the code snippet and paste it to your site builder as an element.

Each site builder works a little differently with installing plugins.

Use the second half of this video (Start on the 1:25 mark) on how to install the Momence classes plugin to help you install this reviews snippet. It covers the most common website builders like wix, squarespace and godaddy.

Connect Multiple Google Review Pages

Google reviews can have a massive impact on a businesses ability to attract new customers.

If your business is expanding to new locations, its important to allow customers to review by location, so that the reviews accurately match the experience. If one location in particular is taking off with reviews, say, because of a certain staff member, customers that read the reviews before buying will want to know which location to visit to find that exact experience.

You can now connect multiple Google review links within the Momence Reviews App. To add additional location links, click:

Marketing > Reviews > Reviews settings

Scroll to Google Reviews per location > Add each location's google review link.

What's a Google Review Link?

A link your customers can use to write a review on your Google My Business page.

Why is it important?

  • Favorable ranking in search results - Google prioritizes showing quality results to searchers. Having many positive reviews can improve how high up in the search results your business appears

  • Google is likely the first contact for your prospective customers - If their first interaction with your business is to read high reviews about you, this helps establish trust, increasing the chance they become a customer of yours.

How do I get one?

1. Go to your Google My Business account.

Sign up your business (if you haven't already), then open the listing you'd like to create a review for.

2. Scroll to the "Get more reviews" box.

From your homepage on the listing you're generating a review link for, you'll notice a "Get more reviews" box. Click the box and copy the generated link.

How Get a Google Review Link Directly From Google

1. Search your business name on Google

2. Click on the review link.

3. Copy the URL (that's your link).

How to change how often reviews are asked of your customers

To update the frequency of customer reviews, click Settings > Review Settings.

Scroll to Basic Settings > choose how often to prompt your customers with a review for classes and appointments > then choose whether to only send a review request if someone has been checked in.

This can help prevent a customer from receiving a review request for an appointment or a class that they didn't end up attending.

Next, consider capping review requests to a certain number per day, month, or year.

Don't forget to save changes at the bottom when you're done.
