If you're looking to add a form to your website that gives your customers a way to receive targeted marketing messages, Momence has a special form generating tool for you to use. This is just a small part of our larger 'Leads' app, and here's how it works.

Leads

First, please make sure the Leads functionality is active in your account. You can read more about Leads and how to activate it here.

Creating a new Lead source

In order to keep your leads organized and to better understand what page in your website your leads are coming from, you can create different source ids by clicking on the "⋮" button in your Lead management page and selecting Settings.

Once in there, you will need to scroll down to the "Custom lead sources" section and click on "Create new source".

Embed the Leads form into your website

In order to embed a Leads form into your website, you will need to navigate to the plugins page of your Dashboard. Once there, navigate to the Leads form tab and customize the form to embed. You can decide the details to collect, and whether you want to connect the form to a specific Lead source and modify it to match your branding.

Collect Leads using API

On the contrary, if you prefer to build a fully customizable from scratch, you can choose to collect Leads using our API. First, you will want to scroll down to the "Build example form" section to select what fields you'd like to collect in your form, as well as the Source ID. Once this is done, you can click "Copy" to copy the code that needs to be pasted on your website. The video below describes this process in detail.

Install a leads form on your website

To install a leads form on your website, in the left hand nav, click Studio set-up > Add to website > Lead Forms > fill out the criteria > copy the code at the bottom of the page > open your site builder (godaddy, wix, squarespace etc) > paste the code as an element.

This video will show you how to install the leads form on some of the most common site builders.
