This article will show you how to prompt customers at checkout to enter their birthday.
Once Momence receives this special date:
it will be stored on the customer's profile as a Custom Field; and
it will stand out on a class sign up list as a birthday badge next to their name (only if that classes' date happens to fall on the customer's birthday)
To get started,
Click Customers > Custom Fields > Add field
Then fill out the form like this. Remember to use a badge color that really pops.
Customers will now be prompted when registering for class to enter their birthdate. If they've previously entered their birthday, they won't be asked again.
Below, Kim is registering for class as a customer. Notice how she's now prompted to enter her birthday.
When teachers view their class signup list, they'll see a badge next to anyones name who happens to have a birthday today.
