Set up sequences to automate communication with missed callers. Unknown callers will be automatically added in as Leads to track and target efficiently!

In case you haven’t heard, we launched the ability for customers to call your Momence phone number earlier this week (read the full article on that here!) But, in true Momence fashion, we decided to take this new capability a step further to see where we could up-level in order to really add more ease and efficiency into your lives. And where we landed is pretty epic, if we may say so ourselves

  1. View and Communicate with Missed Calls / Voicemails from your Inbox

As mentioned in our , you now have the ability to forward calls from your Momence phone number to an alternate phone of your choice (i.e. your business phone or personal phone) under Settings > Phone number.previous email

However, you might be wondering, “What happens to missed calls and voicemails?” Good question! With our newest launch, any missed call or voicemail will now appear as an unread message in your Inbox from the customer who called (the same way you would see an incoming SMS from them).

  2. Record Incoming Calls

You also have the option to capture recordings of voicemails as well as any calls that come in through your Momence number, so that they land in your inbox for you to listen to and or refer to in the future. You can turn this feature on under Settings > Phone number > toggle ON ‘Record all calls.’

  3. Your Inbox is Your Source of Truth for Communication and Incoming Calls

With this new feature you can manage everything from one place, eliminating any nagging concern that you may have missed a call from a different phone. It also allows you to instantly message the person back from the Inbox via SMS or email, or you can call them back from anywhere on any phone if you are not currently near your business phone. Also, the details of the missed call or voicemail are automatically notated in the customer’s profile under their Messages tab for future reference.

  4. Unknown Numbers are Automatically Created as Leads

Now you might be thinking, “That sounds great, but what about calls that come in from non-customers?” Another good question - and we’ve got you covered

Any missed calls or voicemails from unknown numbers (aka numbers not associated with someone on your customer list) will automatically be added into your system as a , Leadallowing you to easily view and track the details from your leads list with a missed call source attached, or from your Inbox under the Leads tab.

Don’t have Leads active on your account yet? You can activate with a 30-day trial under Marketing > Leads!

  5. Turn Missed Calls Into Opportunities with Sequences

Having easy and accessible two-way messaging available through the Inbox is great, and we know that automating as much as possible is the best way to give you back time to focus on what makes your business shine. Which is why we added two new triggers Sequenceto ensure that any missed calls (from customers or leads) get immediate attention!

For current customers, you can use the Missed call trigger, and for leads you can use the Missed call from a lead trigger. There are many ways that you can set these sequences up, and you can customize them completely to fit your business needs using sequence actions. Below are two scenarios you might use:

    1. For customer missed calls: you might create an immediate SMS action to text right after the missed call comes through, letting the customer know that a staff member will get back to them within 24 hours. Then you could also have an immediate Staff task action assigned to the correct members of your team, alerting them to call back the customer.

    2. For lead missed calls: in this situation, you can use sequences as a drip campaign to get the interested person to come in for their first class or appointment. Again, you might create an immediate SMS action letting them know that a staff member will get back to them within 24 hours, along with an immediate Staff task action assigned to the correct members of your team, alerting them to call the lead back and work on getting them in your doors. From there, you can create a drip of SMS actions every day or few days checking in with them until they make their first purchase or booking (this can be set automatically using counter-conditions).

Don’t have Sequences active on your account yet? You can activate with a 30-day trial under Marketing > Sequences !
