One of the biggest benefits of choosing Momence to power your business is that we are a one-stop-shop for all communication with your customers. Whether for a marketing campaign, two-way SMS conversation, in-app message or voicemail received, everything comes through your Inbox, allowing you to streamline processes and ensuring you and your team never miss something. However, there was one form of communication that had to be done outside of the Inbox…until now.

Introducing: Outbound Calling from the Momence Inbox


You can now make — and record! — outbound calls to your customers or leads from your Momence phone number. This means that you will be able to see and track anytime a phone call happens or is attempted right from your Inbox, enabling you and your team to work in unison without having to wonder if someone else already contacted a customer. Plus, having calls come directly from your Momence number will eliminate any confusion from a client receiving SMS messages from one number, but phone calls from another. Check out the steps below to get started!

P.S. haven’t set up your Momence phone number yet? Go to Settings > Phone number to request one.

Make and Track Calls to any Customer or Lead

Navigate to Inbox > select customer > Call to start a phone call right from Momence. Any customer or lead who has a phone number linked to their account will be available to connect with. Once completed, the details of the call will appear within the chain of messages along with the recording of the call if you choose.


You can also find the details and recording from any call with a customer within the Messages tab of their customer profile.


Set Up Call Recording

You have the option to have Momence record all calls made from your Momence phone number. This can be an incredibly useful tool so that you and your team can refer back to past conversations when working with a customer or lead. Especially if you typically have multiple staff members on rotating on shifts who work your sales or follow up processes — instead of wasting time reaching out to each other to ask about particular conversations, your team can simply visit the customer or lead profile and listen to the recording to take action.

To turn on call recording, go to Settings > Phone number > toggle ON Record all calls.


Note: outbound calling is currently available in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia.
