Active gift cards list for balances and expiration dates

On a customer's mobile app, the gift card tab will now contain all active gift cards and balances belonging to the customer.

This includes all gift cards they've purchased themselves as well as gift cards purchased for this customer by someone else.

Customers copy codes to use or share

If a customer taps one of the listed gift cards, they'll see options to copy or even share the gift card code.

Copying the code can be helpful if they're about to pay for something and plan to enter this code in the 'promo code' field of a checkout.

If they share the code they'll be prompted to choose which messaging service, then a recipient.

And recipients that tap the code can easily copy it.

Remove the need for non-customers to fill in custom fields when purchasing gift cards

For customers that purchase gift cards for others, you'll now have control over whether they need to fill out any custom field info.

You can control this from Customers > Custom Fields > edit a custom field > toggle on 'field is required' and you'll see an option to toggle off that its a requirement for gift card purchasers.

Unused gift credit checkout banners

After a purchase is made, your gift card holding customers will see a message reminding them of their current gift card balance and an expiration date if applicable.

Expiration Reminders

You can also have balance/expiration reminders pop up at the top of the customer's app when they're browsing.

Control when Expiration Reminders show for self serving customers

If you're using a gift card creation page (where customers can create their own gift card), you can preset when their expiration reminder will show. To set this, head to Studio Setup > Gift Cards > Gift Card Creation Page.

Can I edit an individual's gift card expiration reminder?

Yes. From Studio Setup > Gift Cards > edit a specific customer's gift card > scroll to 'Expiration Reminder.'

This will also show any time you're creating a new gift card (as long as you set an expiration date).
