Email notifications for purchases
You can now receive an email when a gift card is sold. This makes it easier to track and, if needed, follow up with the purchasing individual.
Only Admin roles will receive this notification.
You can turn this notification on from Setting > General Setup > under Misc Account Settings, scroll to 'Enable gift card purchase notifications' > Save changes at the bottom.
Restrict Gift Card usage to specific items
Its a common preference that gift cards should not be used on certain items (like subscriptions for example).
When creating a new gift card you can now restrict what that gift card can and cannot be used on. From Studio Setup > Gift Cards > Add Gift Card > under 'Applicable to' > choose 'Specific'.
Then select from Classes, Subscriptions/packs, Courses, Products, and Appointments before clicking 'Add.'
A gift card's detail page now shows its transaction history
From Studio Setup > Gift Cards > click on any live gift card to see what its been used on.
This page can also be accessed from the customer's profile by clicking Activity > History > Filters > Gift Card > click the gift card link.
