What's new?
You can now set start & end dates for marketing sequences. This ensures automations only track and send communications during a defined campaign window.
With the "start and end date" feature, you no longer have to log in on the first day of the campaign to manually activate the sequence, or on the last day to manually deactivate it. It's already scheduled and off your to-do list.
What's an example use case for this feature?
A studio runs a challenge from January 1st–31st. Participants must complete 15 classes during that timeframe. Automated emails trigger at milestones:
5 classes completed
10 classes completed
15 classes completed
Since this is a time-sensitive campaign with a strict start date (the starting line) and end date (the finish line), your competitive customers will care that the campaign starts and ends on schedule.
With "start and end dates", you no longer have to rely on memory alone to get these two important tasks done.
Note: If you're running a month-long contest, Start and End Dates do not temporarily reset any metrics like visit counts to 0 for customers in the sequence. (ie. if a customer already had 11 visits when the sequence began, it would start them at 11, not 0).
