As you expand your business to additional locations, you may run up against different tax requirements.
Momence's individual tax settings per location allow you to meet these requirements and ensure your reports reflect the correct rates.
To set your default tax settings per location, click Studio set-up > Locations, Rooms & Taxes > click on your ‘Tax Settings’ page.
The default rate shown will be for your original location(s). Click create to spin up new tax settings for new locations/regions.
After naming your tax setting, choose the individual details, like if sales tax is included in prices, or what the tax rate is for each category of things you sell out of that location.
Once you have the new tax setting created, go back to Studio set-up > Locations, Rooms & Taxes and edit the location you want to apply these new settings to.
Select the tax setting you want to use for this location. You can apply one tax setting to multiple locations, or you can create individual settings for every different location.
Save changes at the bottom when you're finished.
