Does Canceling a class leave it on my schedule?
Yes. Canceling a class leaves it up on your customer-facing schedule, showing as canceled. Deleting it removes it entirely from the schedule.
To cancel or delete an individual class, click classes > locate the class > click the dropdown menu to the right of it.
View your cancelled classes, remove them, or un-cancel them
Momence hides your canceled classes in your dashboard to keep your class list looking clean and tidy.
To view your cancelled classes, click Classes > Schedule > Filters > click Cancelled > Apply Filter.
If you've accidentally canceled a class and need to un-cancel it, click the drop down menu to the right of it > click Un-cancel. To remove it, click Delete this class.
If you have a long list of cancelled classes that need to be removed, you can reach out to [email protected] to request this. Include a list of cancelled classes to remove with dates, times and a link to your schedule page.
Will deleting a class template also delete classes created with that template?
Not at all. In fact, when you delete a template, a pop message will show that says 'Classes created with this template will be kept.'
Cancel or Delete a Recurring Series of Classes
When canceling or deleting classes, you have the option to cancel or delete and individual class or do it for an entire series in a batch.
To remove a full series, follow the steps below:
Click Classes > Schedule > Options > Group Recurring > click the dropdown to the right of the series > cancel series.
You can also get to the desired recurring series by finding one of the classes in the series, opening it, and selecting View series.
Once you are in the recurring series, select "Actions ⋮", and pick "Cancel or Delete recurring class".
The pop up will allow you to cancel classes after a certain date, using the 'only classes after' option.
Un-cancel a class
If you've just cancelled a class by accident, you can restore the class. Before doing this its worth noting that previous signs ups will not be re-instated. The class will just be restored with all previous details.
To do this, click Classes > Schedule > Filters (blue button off to the right) > Click box titled Show Canceled > then Apply filter > Click the dropdown menu to the right of the cancelled class > choose 'un-cancel.'
Customer bookings
Cancel a customer out of a class
Locate the class from Classes > Schedule > Scroll to the customer list > click the dropdown to the right of the customer > then click Cancel booking.
Choose whether to credit the customers / whether to notify them / mark it as a late cancellation.
(To decide what occurs when a late cancellation occurs, go to Settings > Cancellation Policy > scroll to late cancellation > add rules for auto charges for late cancellations).
Un-cancel a customer back into class
From the class details page, click the Canceled tab > locate the customer > click the dropdown to the right of their name and click Un-cancel.
Cancel a customer out of a recurring class series
If you've booked a customer into the wrong class series here's how to cancel them out.
Locate the next class they are registered for that shows them listed as 'unpaid'. (click Classes > Schedule). To the right of their name click the dropdown menu > choose 'Cancel Recurring booking'.
This will cancel them out of the remaining this class plus the remaining series. If there is an initial class that they were booked into and have already paid for you'll need to cancel them out of that one using the normal cancel option, available in the same dropdown menu.
Change the membership a customer used to book a class
If you've booked a customer into class using a class pack or subscription and they have another you'd like to switch this booking to, head to the class in question.
Locate the customer > click the dropdown next to their name > click 'switch membership used'.
Note: 'Switch membership used' will only show as an option if a customer was booked in with a 'class pack' or a 'subscription' (and has a second subscription (or pack) to switch this booking to).
If a customer was booked into class with: 'cash,' 'money credits,' 'pay later,' a 'gift card', or as 'free,' this 'Switch Membership' option will not show.
Next, choose the new membership to switch this booking to and Submit.
The updated payment method will now show.
